ABOUT SARAH

I didn’t get into AI because I love shiny new technology.

I got into it because I hate inefficient businesses.

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE COMES FIRST

Good businesses lose time in the gaps.

I’m Sarah Damani, founder of AI in Practice. My background spans business support, advisory, operations, strategy, virtual assistance, systems and process improvement for growing SMEs.

Working inside businesses, I kept seeing the same things: disconnected systems, duplicated administration and capable people spending time on work that did not need to be so difficult.

Sometimes the explanation was simply, “That’s how we’ve always done it.” Understanding why a process exists — and what people really need from it — became the starting point for finding a better way.

OPPORTUNITY, WITH RESPONSIBILITY

AI added new possibilities.
And new questions.

AI offered ways to tackle some of those familiar operational problems. It also made it easier to introduce tools and share information before the business had decided what good practice should look like.

That led me towards specialist AI training, practical implementation work and the creation of AI in Practice. I bring operational experience and practical AI expertise to the same conversation.

A PERSON, NOT A LIST OF TOOLS

There’s room for a human conversation.

You don’t need to speak in technical terms or have all the answers. Bring the messy workflow, the question you’ve been putting off or the idea you’re not quite sure about.

We’ll start there.
